The magazine comes out in November 1986 in full glory (if it can be called a glory) of the MSX. Although the standard is a great success in Japan, it is a little less obvious in France. This does not discourage the MSX Video Center store from releasing a magazine dedicated to MSX. Many games tests, news, some tips and tricks, listings, classifieds. MSX News did only 5 publications before becoming Micro News, a less risky bet given the decline of the MSX from 1987... He will nevertheless continue to talk a lot about the MSX.

Before becoming MSX Magazine, the bimonthly was a supplement to Laser Magazine by the same publisher (Laser Presse).

No. 1 was released as a supplement in December 1984, but the true independent No. 4 was published in July 1985. The last issue will be released in November 1986.
