About

In Final Zone II, you embody one of the members of an elite unit equipped with sophisticated combat armor called « NRF follows ». Each character has statistics and clean weapons, influencing how you play. The gameplay is based on an isometric view where you have to eliminate enemies by progressing through infested areas, while avoiding fire and managing the range of your weapons.

This game stands out for its semi-strategic approach: it is not simply a matter of shooting in all directions, but of choosing its angles of attack and avoiding environmental traps. Each level offers a new decor, with increasing difficulty and imposing mechanical bosses.

Visually, Final Zone II effectively exploits the capabilities of the PC-Engine, with detailed sprites, dynamic animations and a very marked futuristic aesthetic. The rhythmic soundtrack supports the action with brilliance, while strengthening the military and high-tech atmosphere of the title.
