THE CHEMINERY

The year 1990 will have had its procession of disillusionment. Yes, the micro is no longer this paradise valley populated by some gods that count dollars! Today the gods are legion... but the faithful are missing. As a result, everyone grins teeth. Publishers run after a well-deserved success out of price, and to get back into their own expense they don't hesitate to release compilations distributed according to the movement – everyone starts compilations, magazines, and even us... Thank you for us!

That was for the end of the decade. The end of the year, like birthdays and other ceremonies, is an opportunity to take a look in the mirror... Fortunately, we can do it without crying with trembling hands. This year, Micro News has actually borne fruit, making available to the public a host of great games – such as the must-sees you will find in our Top 100. Let us note in passing that among these, some would suggest a bright future for the micro universe... a new race of softs, to be sure!

1990 was also the date of the advent of the consoles – those very ones that the professionals of the French edition denigrated at leisure recently, doubting their future implantation in the market... To finish the year in beauty, the Super Famicom, NEC (?) and other stars in the genre, just landed in Hexagon. A look at the test of F-Zero I'll tell you more about this.
