Major part of the MSX range, the Panasonic FS-A1ST is one of the very rare computers MSX turbo R marketed in Japan. This copy has been tested with MSX, MSX2, MSX2+ and turbo R games, both in cartridge and in diskette. The 3.5 inches drive just received a new belt and works perfectly.
The machine is sold alone, without box, without notice and without system diskettes. It has normal traces of use, but it is functional, complete, and especially ready to serve. A real user collector machine, not just to stay on a shelf.

The Panasonic FS-A1ST is part of these machines that represent the top of the MSX family. We're here on a MSX turbo R, the latest large hardware standard in the range, with its processor R800, its compatibility with the website MSX classical and its capabilities advanced in relation to generations MSX2 and MSX2+.
This copy is an original Japanese machine, sold alone, without box, without notice and without Panasonic system diskettes. It is therefore primarily addressed to a collector who wants to really use the machine, test his games, take advantage of the original material and find the experience MSX turbo R on a real configuration.
The 3.5-inch disk drive has been opened and the belt has just been replaced. The reader now works perfectly during the tests performed. The machine was tested with several sets and supports: MSX cartridges, MSX2, MSX2+ titles, turbo R compatible productions and diskettes. The keyboard responds correctly, the keys are functional, the Panasonic internal software is accessible and the machine starts normally.
The display was tested in NTSC composite RCA. The RGB output is well present on the machine, but it has not been recently tested for lack of suitable screen. It worked correctly during my previous uses with compatible screen, but I prefer to be clear: the recent test was performed in composite.
In terms of condition, the machine is in good condition for its age. There are normal traces of time, some marks on the hull, a slight yellowing of the keys and some markings a little attenuated, especially on the facade. Nothing unusual for a Japanese computer of this generation, but it's not a new room or a machine out of the box. It is a beautiful functional, clean, coherent and especially usable copy.
Attention, like any Japanese computer of this period, the FS-A1ST requires a transformer sector adapted 220V around 100V/110V for use in Europe. It must never be connected directly to the French sector.
Games, controllers, screen, test cables or accessories visible on certain photos are not included unless otherwise stated. Sales only concern computer Panasonic FS-A1ST as presented.
