European Box of Rollerball on MSX released in 1984.
Clearly the best 1984 freak game on family computer. No other game could compete that year!

European Box of Rollerball on Nes released in 1988.
Although it is not in doubt of the best freak game of 1984, French magazines like Tilt, which were clearly against MSX (band of lascars), did not hesitate to give him a mediocre note while they have incensed games such as Macadam Bumper of the Computer ERA or Cobra Pinball of the Cobrasoft which, it must be admitted, are nothing comparable with Rollerball. The latter is more fluid, more fun, graphically much better (see article on HAL by Gamopat).
These idiot journalists were already big mussels at the time. Truly sold to publishers who were praising them with gogo gifts to make their articles foam... It's experience I assure you! Hey!

Rollerball, the computer freak class in 1984!
To one or two players, Rollerball has several levels of difficulty and if you choose the toughest « Pro Mode » You really are! The ball is out of control for our old reflexes! That said, Rollerball proves that even in 1984 the games could be fast, fluid and very nice to play. A must for all fans of flippers and of course others who will find here an excellent title. But be careful... hyper addictive!

I had the chance to find the game in European version and still sealed! In perfect condition. A must in my collection.
