Univers MSX

 

We're back! And this time we will stay! Why? Simply because we now have a memory duty by creating a site on the MSX standard.

Adults with a few neurons, we have seen computer development since its beginning in the general public sector. With the hindsight and almost 30 years of education in an area that few people thought could one day break through, we are able to present in a single site the universe of our preferred computer standard. From its beginnings to its collapse (although the MSX was the genesis of current computing on many points) we go to the bottom of things trying to present here everything that could have been part of this fantastic universe for the little geeks we were. And that we are still in many ways!

What's the MSX?

The result of an American-Japanese collaboration of two IT giants that are ASCII and Microsoft, MSX in a few countries as a reference in the computer world from the early 1980s to the early 1990s.

Full standard as can be the PC today, the MSX rocked our childhood and offered us some of the best video games.

Who is that?

Captain named himself Wulfy for the intimate and with our crew we will try to fill what the net today is quite unable to provide. In France, the number of sites is ridiculous and apart from some very good Japanese sites the vacuum that gravitates around our preferred system continues to grow daily.

The MSX in the world?

There are still great fans of MSX but they start getting tired and often stop their collection because it is an activity that today is unfortunately far too expensive. As an example some « fans » who like to recover an argus on iB to make inflate auctions and estimate to the array of games MSX which are not worth a quarter of what they ask. To those scavengers of our standard who no longer have any morals... you can go see Raoul and check if the earth is a ball!
