After the success of the first volume, Konami continues his series of thematic compilations by grouping several of his most popular titles on a single diskette. The RA007 is now particularly popular because it brings together some of the iconic games of the "Arcade-Action" period of the MSX Konami, at a time when the publisher was at the top of his technical mastery on the machine.

This Game Collection series represents a very special period in the history of the Japanese MSX. At the end of the 1980s, the market slowly began to switch to consoles, but Konami continued to produce extremely neat compilations for MSX2 users. These RA volumes are now considered to be the last large witnesses of the Konami age on Japanese 8-bit computer.
The packaging itself became a cult among collectors: silver metal jackets, typical geometric design of the late 1980s and Konami diskettes immediately recognizable. Complete copies with original manual and diskette are now increasingly difficult to find in a good condition of preservation.
Like other RA compilations in the series, the RA007 also has a technical interest for hardware enthusiasts: some games can take advantage of SCC/SCC-I sound extensions on compatible hardware, offering a typically Konami MSX audio experience that has become legendary among Japanese chiptune fans.
