Here's a Panasonic Joy Pad FS-JS220 For MSX, an original Japanese compact controller, designed to play more comfortably than with a classic desktop joystick. We are on a simple, efficient accessory, without unnecessary fioridation: a directional cross, two buttons, a light format and very direct ergonomics.
The FS-JS220 is part of those MSX joypads that we like to find today, because it fits perfectly with the spirit of the machine: sober, reliable, practical and really usable. No turbo, no autofire, no gadget. Just a real period controller, designed to accompany MSX games in good conditions.
The copy presented here is in good general condition. Black plastic and orange buttons retain a beautiful visual presence, the rear label Panasonic FS-JS220 is legible, and the cable as the connector are present. Some normal signs of use are visible, which is logical for an accessory of this age, but the whole remains very clean.
A very good choice to complete a Panasonic FS-A1, a Japanese MSX2 which was also delivered in a configuration with a game and a FS-JS220, or simply to play on MSX with a consistent and pleasant period controller.
The controller has been tested on MSX: the directions and both buttons respond perfectly. It is therefore sold as tested and fully functional.
