️ Gameplay and Mechanical

In the tradition of command-select adventures (a gameplay based on action menus like « Watch », « Talk », « Use »...), Psy-O-Blade follows a linear but immersive narrative. Players must interact with the characters, search the places and assemble information fragments to advance.
Some passages are timed, adding a layer of tension. The MSX interface is clean, but efficient, with illustrated visuals for each scene.

The game benefits from a neat graphic realization For the time: futuristic sets, detailed portraits, and animated cinematic scenes on MSX2. Even in version MSX1, the game retains an immersive atmosphere thanks to its minimalist but efficient design and soundtrack synthwave.
