The principle is simple but devilishly addictive: each player controls a Bomberman in an arena filled with destructible blocks and enemies. By setting bombs, you can create paths, trigger chain reactions and trap your opponents. The solo mode offers a series of levels with increasing difficulty, while the multiplayer mode turns each game into a battlefield where only the smartest survives.

Franchise Bomberman was actually born in 1983 on ZX Spectrum and MSX, under the name Eric and the Floaters. It was only in 1985 that Hudson Soft released a version Bomberman on Famicom, which really popularized the concept.
