About
Unlike many action titles on PC-Engine, Bubblegum Crash! is a narrative game of type text adventure (visual novel), offering menus of choice, observation of scenes, and dialogues. Each chapter puts you in the skin of a different team member, offering a variety of perspectives on the plot.
The graphic style is faithful to the anime: detailed portraits, stylized urban scenery and pronounced cyberpunk atmosphere. For a HuCARD, the game impresses with the richness of its visuals, despite the absence of digitalized voices or CD music.
A game reserved for informed fans
Fully in Japanese, Bubblegum Crash! is addressed primarily to players who master the language or want to complete their collection of games related to the universe Bubblegum Crisis. It offers little direct action but will seduce fans of interactive surveys and retro SF atmosphere.
