Diablo III: Reaper of Souls was released on March 25, 2014, developed by Blizzard Entertainment, an essential reference in the world of video game. This extension was conceived as a response to the many criticisms expressed against Diablo III during its initial release in 2012. Players blamed an unsatisfactory loot system, a limited endgame and a poorly balanced difficulty. Blizzard therefore took the bull by the horns and thoroughly reshaped the game to offer a much more rewarding experience.
Reaper of Souls introduces a new act, the fifth, that propels players into the city of Westwalk, besieged by the forces of Malthael. The story is darker and more mature, with dramatic stakes that come to give an unprecedented depth to the world of Diablo. The gameplay has been greatly improved with the addition of Adventure mode, which allows you to explore the areas freely and earn bonuses to gain experience and loot. The boot system has been completely redesigned, with the introduction of legendary objects and bundle bonuses, offering more variety and options to customize his character. The Crusader class also makes its appearance, bringing a new style of game focused on defense and raw power. With these changes, Reaper of Souls not only saved Diablo III, but elevated him to the reference rank of the hacks of the hacks.
