Here's a real Joy Card Hudson Soft HC-62-2 for MSX, a period accessory that smells good the Japanese 80s and long sessions on microcomputers. Hudson Soft is obviously not a name in the world of Japanese video game: Bomberman, Star Soldier, Adventure Island, BeeCards on MSX of course, the PC-Engine... The brand always had a foot in the machines that made the players dream of the time.
This Joy Card takes a very different approach to classic joysticks: flat format, wide directional cross, two action buttons and a grip closer to what will later be called a console controller. On MSX, this is typically the kind of accessory that changes the game comfort, especially for action titles, shoots and arcade games.
The copy offered here is in good general condition, with a nice presentation for his age. The facade retains a very nice appearance, the cable and connector are present, and the Hudson Soft rear label is always legible. It is not a modern clone or a recent generic accessory, but rather an original MSX controller, with all the charm of Japanese material of this period.
A small accessory, yes, but the kind of room that perfectly completes a real MSX configuration.
