Mappy
Dive into the tedious universe of Mappy, a must of the 80s developed by Namco and adapted on MSX under the brand name Namcot in 1984. This classic platform mixes action, reflection and humour in an experience as addictive as it is charming. If you like retro games with well-linked gameplay, Mappy on MSX is a title that deserves a place in your collection.
The game is sold in its original box with the leaflet and the functional cartridge.
For the story:
An English sticker was stuck at the time on the back of the cartridge to translate it seems to me the summary of the game. Typical of some distributors who never wanted to repeat a complete jacket. Besides, you will notice that the notice is in English which therefore suggests that this game was sold in a country other than Japan. But I found this game in a Tokyo store in 2012.

About

The player must explore a house full of trampolines, avoid enemies, and collect treasures while planning his travels carefully.
Adapted to MSX in 1984, this port retains the charm and ingenuity of the original game, offering a faithful experience to arcade fans.
A cocktail of fun, strategy and nostalgia to enjoy on your MSX!
Did you know that?
The original title of Mappy in Japanese is simply マッピー (Mappī), written in katakana.
This name has remained the same in all versions, whether it is arcade or domestic adaptations as on our good old MSX, but also on Famicom or other systems.
Fun fact : The name « Mappy » comes from the Japanese word (Mappo), a slang term that means a police officer. It's a wink to the main character's profession, which is a little police bat!
