Released on Super Nintendo, Mortal Kombat 3 continues the evolution of the series with a gameplay faster than the first episodes, a more modern staging and a visual direction immediately identifiable. Here we find everything that has made the license's reputation: nervous clashes, special blows, finish moves, dark atmosphere and notable characters.

This episode also has its own identity. Where the first Mortal Kombat remained deeply rooted in a martial and mystical aesthetic, Mortal Kombat 3 pushes more the spectacular side and arcade, with more rhythm, mobility and a renewed roster. It is an important game in the history of the series, both for its gameplay and for its place in the golden age of the fighting games of the 90s.

On Super Nintendo, the title today keeps a real aura among lovers of 16-bit versus 16-bit fighting. It is an interesting piece for which collects the machine, the Mortal Kombat license, or more widely the great combat series of the period.
