What makes this disk even more valuable is its content. It includes musical excerpts from eight of the most prominent PC-Engine games in the Hudson catalogue of the time: Tengai Makyou: Fuuun Kabuki Den, Super Air Zonk (CD Denjin: Rockabilly Tengoku), Might and Magic III, Blood Gear, Bonk 3: Bonks Big Adventure (PC Genjin 3), Yoshimoto New Comedy, Neo Nectaris and Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys. The album has 22 audio tracks that are a real condensation of what the PC-Engine had better to offer musically that year. There are as varied ambiences as the epic and the crazy, from the big Japanese adventure to the over-vitamined shoots to the Western RPG.
To own this CD is to hold in his hands an object that was not intended for the general public, a promotional artefact of the golden age of the PC-Engine, reserved for the insiders most loyal to the Hudson brand. The copies circulating are rare, and a copy in excellent condition is even more complete.
An opportunity not to let pass for any serious collector, retrogaming enthusiast or enthusiast of 90s video game music.
